Las increíbles cuevas de Tam Coc // The incredible Tam Coc's caves

Cerca del poblado de Ninh Binh, a una hora y media desde Hanoi, Vietnam, se encuentran las cuevas de Tam Coc (la traducción sería “tres cuevas”), en el entorno de paisaje cárstico del río Ngo Dong. La zona se conoce como la “bahía de Ha Long interior”. En una excursión en barca, nos internaremos en un mundo perdido, entre canales y campos de arroz donde la vida rural vietnamita transcurre sin cambios desde hace cientos de años, y donde los paisajes son poco menos que alucinantes.
De la mano del crecimiento del turismo, la armonía del lugar puede verse opacada mínimamente por los insistentes vendedores. Pero nada se compara con navegar por los canales y el río, timoneado por las tradicionales remeras con el pie.
Para finalizar, es importante llevar una rigurosa protección para el sol en una excursión por Tam Coc, incluyendo algún parasol que nos hará no lamentarnos por ser demasiados precavidos.

Near the town of Ninh Binh, an hour and a half from Hanoi, Vietnam, we found the caves of Tam Coc (the translation would be "three caves"), in the karst landscape environment Ngo Dong River. The area is known as "Ha Long bay inside."
